superb stay near central station

generous upgrade early check-in great snack

i received a generous upgrade to an executive king room with lounge access. early check-in was granted (so handy after a long journey!). the executive lounge had a good selection of all-day snacks. evening pre-dinner canapés included soup and cheese (yum!).

i found that the gym equipment was quite dated and some machines were out of order.

Central Location and Good Breakfast

train station city sights own waffles

The hotel's location near the central train station was very convenient. It made getting around the city easy. I walked to many landmarks without difficulty. The breakfast was good. I especially liked making my own waffles.

The room had no comfortable armchairs. I do wish hotels would recognize that a double room requires TWO armchairs!

poor air conditioning high temperature

the location was good, right in the centre. easy access to transportation and attractions helped.

the room air wasnt working very well. the temperature was too high for me. i think, maybe, i will catch a cold, i'm very sensetive about temperatures.

The location was excellent. It was very close to the main train station. I also appreciated the fresh breakfast. The staff was friendly (i spoke to mrs fathy).

The service was not up to par. There was no housekeeping . This meant no coffee replenishment occurred or bins emptied. (i tried to call for assistance, but no one answered).

Central Location with Great Access

The hotel is convenient with central station located next door, i found access very simple. a short walk got me to the grand place and various restaurants. The location was ideal. the staff kindly moved me to a larger room when one became available (i appreciated that).

i found that the shower pressure was quite low, it made showering less refreshing. also, the water temperature fluctuated unexpectedly, this added an element of surprise i didn't particularly care for. it is something i hope the management addresses.

perfect central stay!

perfect location ease of access free wifi

we were very grateful for the hotel's perfect location near the central train station. the ease of access to transportation was such a relief, especially with a train to catch the next morning. i really appreciated that our room was larger than other rooms in the downtown area. joining hilton honors gave me free wifi, and i was glad about that!!

the train station frontage facing the hotel really needs some cleaning. it somewhat detracts from the otherwise beautiful hotel, and that is a real shame. i sincerely hope management will address this soon.
